Back on August 21st, Le’Veon Bell and teammate LeGarrette Blount were caught with marijuana in their vehicle on the way to the airport to catch a flight to a preseason game in Philadelphia.

According to a story written by Josh Alper, Bell was also charged with a DUI.

There has been a lot of talk in the NFL this past year about possibly allowing marijuana usage by their players, but nothing official yet.

Adrian Peterson, who has about 23,904 other issues to deal with, was the latest player to be charged with marijuana usage.

According to a report by RotoWorld, Bell will likely face a two-game suspension whenever this case wraps up. Most think that will be early in 2015.

As for this season, Le’Veon Bell is second in the league in rushing behind Cowboys’ running back DeMarco Murray. Bell and the Steelers find themselves at 3-3, last in the AFC North after six games.

Bell has since apologized to his teammates:

“It’s a mistake that obviously [I] can’t do it again,” Bell said, via Scott Brown of ESPN.com. “It’s something I definitely regret doing but I apologized to my teammates for it.”

Le’Veon Bell and his Pittsburgh Steelers play the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football.
