Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns

I’ve put WAY too much thought into this pick and it’s not any more exciting of a game from a national perspective than the Vikings/Buccaneers game that I mocked earlier. Regardless, I’m torn on if I think the Browns will rebound from a loss to the Jaguars or if Derek Carr (who has looked really good lately) will finally get the Raiders into the win column. While I’m tempted to take the Raiders, they are 0-6 and the Browns are 3-3. I’ll stick with the home team with the better record, but I won’t be shocked if the Raiders follow the Jaguars example and get their first win against the Browns.

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints

Aaron Rodgers has been on FIRE the last four games and Drew Brees threw an interception that basically lost the Saints the game last week. Then, if you add the fact that the Packers pass defense has held opposing QBs to the lowest combined passer rating in the NFL with the Saints pass defense allowing opposing QBs to have one of the ten highest passer ratings in the league and things don’t look so good for the Saints. I know this is in New Orleans, but I simply refuse to pick against Aaron Rodgers when he’s playing this well.
