Danny Ainge believes that the future is bright for his Boston Celtics.

When The Boston Celtics traded away Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, they knew that they would have to go through a rebuilding phase. With a surplus of draft picks and young players, the Celtics are destined to have a bright NBA future and to president of basketball operations Danny Ainge, anything less than a championship is not acceptable.

"“We don’t really look at it as rebuilding or changing direction, we’re trying to build a championship,” said Ainge matter-of-factly. “We have some really nice players and I know Brad is really understanding the NBA game and all the things that come from making the transition to coaching in college. I couldn’t be happier with Brad and his staff. I think he’s done a great job of communicating to all the players.”"

Ainge is clearly confident in his team and he sees great things coming in the future for Boston. The Celtics had 25 wins last season, but that was expected after trading away two of their franchises’ top tier players for draft picks and below average players. As long as the Celtics stay patient, the future appears to be glistening bright.
