Chicago Bears‘ defensive lineman Lamarr Houston isn’t happy with the teams play this year, and didn’t sign in NFL free agency for this.
The Chicago Bears have been going through a rough and disappointing season so far this year, and the players are beginning to get frustrated. Brandon Marshall stepped up last week and called out some of his teammates, and there are now reports surfacing that Lamarr Houston joined him and made it very clear that he wasn’t happy with the direction that the team was headed.

"At that point, according to Rapoport, Lamarr Houston stepped in and defended Marshall and continued yelling at the team, showing leadership, according to two sources inside the locker room. Houston’s message: “If you are OK with this (expletive), then what are we doing here? I won about three games the last few years with the Raiders. I didn’t come here for this.”"
Houston signed with the Bears this past offseason after four years with the Oakland Raiders, and was hoping to join a championship contending team. That has been far from the case so far this season, and there are major concerns about whether or not the Bears will even make the playoffs. There simply hasn’t been any passion from the Bears, and they have made big mistakes in key game situations.
So far through seven games this season, Houston has yet to make a big impact for the Bears either. He has recorded just seven tackles, one fumble recovery, and one defensed pass. Those numbers aren’t going to cut it, and he’ll need to focus on picking up his own game rather than just talking about not being in Chicago for the type of play that has been produced.
Chicago still has enough talent to turn things around and get back into the NFC North race with the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. They have a very potent offense, and they have the players to make something happen on defense as well. It will be interesting to see how they respond over the next few weeks.
