Buffalo Bills receiver Mike Williams said he wants to remain with the team as the trade deadline approaches
Buffalo Bills receiver Mike Williams, who has had a disappointing season so far, said per ESPN.com that he wishes to remain with the team and has expressed those wishes to his agent. The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday.

Mike Williams hasn’t completely fallen out of favor but he has dropped on the depth chart and has not become a top target for Bill quarterbacks. He did not have a reception and was not targeted on Sunday in the 43-23 victory over the New York Jets.
The Bills have a bye week coming up next Sunday but has said he is going to remain in the Buffalo area this week to see how things play out. Williams has just eight receptions this season for 142 yards. He has one touchdown.
Williams spent his first four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He fell out of favor there as well after playing just six games for the Bucs in 2013. The Bills have a big decision to make. It might be hard to part with a talent like Williams but at the same time he hasn’t performed to expectations. It might though be difficult to find someone willing to take him on, even if they only have to part with a late-round draft pick.
