Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr was always considered a little guy when he was in the NBA, but on Halloween, he bumped into an even littler version of Steve Kerr.

Fans got a reminder on Halloween that what constitutes being a “little guy” in NBA terms is not the same as actually being a “little guy.”

The latest proof to that theory comes from Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr, a well-known little guy during his 15 years in the NBA.

This from Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, via Twitter:

The thing to bear in mind is this: The “little guy,” Kerr, is actually 6-foot-3, which sort of towers over an average-sized American male. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the average male in the U.S. is just a shade taller than 5-foot-9, based on data compiled from 2007-10.

That data set does beg the question: Why is height considered a disease?

We’ll leave that for another day. In any event, if mini-Steve Kerr didn’t win Halloween at his workplace, he should have—it was well thought out, well executed and included photographic evidence.

And, best of all, no wardrobe malfunctions.
