A look at how the college football rankings might shape out on Sunday following the action that we saw for Week 10 on Saturday.

While Week 11 of college football next week will bring us a plethora of top match ups, Week 10 did not fail to bring the drama, and therefore we’re going to see a change in the college football rankings on Sunday when they’re released.

The biggest story of Week 10 was undoubtedly the showdown between the No. 3 and No. 4 teams in the College Football Playoff rankings, the Auburn Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels. This was essentially an elimination game from the playoffs, and when it was all said and done, it was the Rebels who may have lost their playoff hopes, dropping a heartbreaker to Auburn, 35-31.

Another top-ranked team, TCU, survived a scare of their own. The Horned Frogs went to Morgantown and fought back to take one from the West Virginia Mountaineers, keeping them firmly in the national championship hunt for the time being.

It won’t be as bad as what we’re going to see next weekend when the smoke settles, but here is a look at what the college football rankings may look like on Sunday following the action of Week 10.
