John Wall Gave Shoes To Trick-Or-Treaters
By Hayden Kane
John Wall of the Washington Wizards went above and beyond on Halloween, giving out shoes to trick-or-treaters.
Most of the time, the houses that don’t give candy to trick-or-treaters on Halloween are the worst. No candy usually means something like an apple, or even worse, a toothbrush.

Seriously, if you’re one of those people who gives out toothbrushes, just stop. Even if you’re a dentist. Actually, especially if you’re a dentist.
There is one case, however, where not getting candy turns out to be a pretty great deal for trick-or-treaters. That was the case for the lucky kids who got to ring the doorbell at John Wall’s place.
Wall didn’t have candy, but what he did have were pairs of his newest model of Adidas shoes. That’s pretty great, and some of the reactions from these trick-or-treaters are priceless.
Check out the video on Wall’s own Facebook page.
Sure, the video ends up serving as a little bit of a commercial for the ‘JWall1’ sneakers. But who cares? This made for a cool moment for a lot of kids, one they will never forget.
Good on John Wall for doing this. He officially gets a pass for not handing out candy to trick-or-treaters on Halloween.
