Miami Dolphins (-1.5) over San Diego Chargers

This line opened with the Chargers installed as a 1-point road favorite in most places. However, this has moved more than two full points, and hilariously, that flies in the face of nearly 80% of the ticket volume being on the side of the road team in San Diego.

Translation? The sharps love Miami, and so do I.

The Chargers are incredibly banged up on the defensive side of the ball, and while I would agree that they are the better team when fully healthy, that sentiment means little in this spot. Add in the home field advantage and a growing feeling that the Dolphins are for real this season after massive upgrades to their offensive line, and I’ll take the home team giving less than a field goal.
