College Football Picks Against The Spread Week 11

Since I am limited (and expensive) access to internet, all of the picks will come in one fell swoop this week.

Here’s how this works: I take the odds from the Vegas casinos and come up with the average point spread. I then pick against the average number, rounded to the nearest half. There will be no pushes here. Saving pushing for your next mosh pit.

Bowling Green at Akron(-6.5): I have picked Akron every game since they beat Pitt, and they have failed to come through even once. I’m going with Bowling Green.

Toledo(-13.5) at Kent State: The Flashes might be the worst team in the MAC this year, and that is saying a lot! Give me Toledo.

Buffalo at Ohio(-2.5): This line is backwards. Buffalo straight up!

Northern Illinois(-3.5) at Ball State: Come on, the Cardinals aren’t that good. Give me NIU.

(21)Clemson(-22.5) at Wake Forest: Wake has been awful, but Clemson hasn’t exactly been great with Watson out. That said, Wake likely won’t score. I have to go with Clemson.

Memphis(-6.5) at Temple: The Owls defense is for real. I have to take them at home.

Utah State(-6.5) at Wyoming: The Cowboys looked awfully good against Fresno last week. That said, they have been bad more than they have been good. Give me Utah State.

Louisiana Tech(-4.5) at UAB: This looks low. Give me the Bulldogs.

UTSA at Rice(-9.5): Rice has looked like the much better team of late. I will take Rice.

SMU at Tulsa(-12.5): Is SMU really this bad? I have my doubts. Give me SMU.

Penn State(-5.5) at Indiana: The Hoosiers aren’t the same without Sudfeld. Give me Penn State.

Iowa(-2.5) at Minnesota: I don’t buy it. Give me Minnesota at home.

(13)Baylor at (18)Oklahoma(-5.5): Baylor’s defense isn’t great, but their offense is close. Give me Baylor. Oklahoma is getting way too much credit for one good game in the last month.

Wisconsin(-16.5) at Purdue: Way too low. Give me Wisconsin for my lock of the day!

(11)Georgia(-10.5) at Kentucky: Give me Georgia. Last week was a fluke.

(24)Duke(-3.5) at Syracuse: This looks low. Give me Duke.

Georgia Tech(-5.5) at North Carolina State: This spread is missing a digit. GT covers with ease!

South Alabama at Arkansas State(-2.5): I have to go with the Red Wolves at home.

Georgia State at Troy(-6.5): Heads. Guess I’m taking Troy…..

Louisiana-Monroe at Appalachian State(-3.5): I don’t buy it. Monroe almost beat A&M last week. I am taking the Warhawks!

Texas A&M at (3)Auburn(-21.5): Too low. Without Hill and on the road, the Aggies have no chance at hanging around. Give me Auburn.

(10)Notre Dame at (14)Arizona State(-2.5): The Sun Devil offense hasn’t faced a defense like this yet, but I still think they find a way at home. Give me ASU.

Connecticut(-4.5) at Army: Too low. Give me UConn for my lock of the afternoon.

Tulane at Houston(-17.5): The Cougars have been automatic lately. Give me Houston.

Florida International at Old Dominion(-4.5): The Monarch defense will find some way to blow this. Give me FIU.

(20)West Virginia(-3.5) at Texas: WAY too low. Give me the Mountaineers with confidence!

Michigan(-1.5) at Northwestern: I have to take Northwestern at home, despite the fact that they haven’t played well lately.

Iowa State(-3.5) at Kansas: I don’t like the half, but I do like the Cyclones to take this, so give me ISU.

UTEP at Western Kentucky(-7.5): Wow, I can’t go against UTEP with the way they are playing right now. Give me the Miners.

Air Force(-6,5) at UNLV: For under a TD, I’m taking Air Force.

Washington State at Oregon State(-7.5) I don’t like the half, so give me Washington State.

Georgia Southern(-11.5) at Texas State. That option is lethal. Give me Georgia Southern.

Idaho at San Diego State(-20.5): Ugh. Give me SDSU, I guess.

Virginia at (2)Florida State(-18.5): I like Virginia to make Winston make enough mistakes to keep this fairly close. Give me the Cavs.

Florida Atlantic(-3.5) at North Texas: FAU is a safe bet right now. Give me the Owls.

Marshall(-28,5) at Southern Mississippi: I don’t like the half, but I like the Eagles even less. Give me Marshall.

Boise State(-18.5) at New Mexico: This seems a little too high. Give me the Lobos at home.

Hawaii at Colorado State(-10.5): The Warriors are terrible on the mainland still. Give me the Rams.

(25)Louisville(-3.5) at Boston College: Too low. Give me Louisville for my lock of the night.

(9)Kansas State at (7)TCU(-6.5): I have a feeling this comes down to a last second play. I hope its a field goal, because I’m taking Kansas State.

Florida(-14.5) at Vanderbilt: I hate the half, and feel the Gators overachieved last week. Give me Vandy.

(6)Alabama(-6.5) at (19)LSU: The Tigers don’t have anyone that can handle Amari Cooper. Give me Bama.

Louisiana-Lafayette(-16.5) at New Mexico State: This looks a shade high. Give me the Aggies at home.

(16)Ohio State at (10)Michigan State(-6.5): This could be far worse. Give me Sparty.

Colorado at (12)Arizona(-14.5): This looks low with the way the Ralphies have played on the road. Give me Arizona.

(5)Oregon(-9.5) at (17)Utah: There is a chance that this stays in single digits, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Give me Oregon.

San Jose State at Fresno State(EVEN): This shouldn’t be even. Fresno with ease!
