Which five NBA teams are currently the top darkhorse contenders to win the NBA Finals this season?

The NBA season is in its second week and there have already been quite a few exciting games and quite a few teams that have come out strong that simply weren’t expected to. It’s going to be a very fun season to be an NBA fan, and there are plenty of darkhorse teams to keep an eye on throughout the course of the year.

So many players switched teams this past offseason that teams are still figuring out who they are due to all of the new faces. One of the prime examples for that point is the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have gotten off to a very rough 1-3 start. Those changes, however, will be exactly what takes some teams that had no chance of contending for a title last year to have a legitimate chance.

There are a few teams in particular that stand out as potential championship contenders that not many recognize as such. It’s always hard to predict how a season will go at this point in the year, but there have been enough games to see the general idea of what each team will bring to the table.

All of that being said, which five NBA teams are going to be darkhorse championship contenders this season?
