Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Trevor Knight has not had the best day of his career on Saturday as he and his team have been routed by the Baylor Bears, and things got worse in the fourth quarter.
Just as the final quarter got underway and with the Sooners down 41-14, Knight took a pretty vicious hit from the Baylor defense and was down for a significant amount of time on the field as he was looked at by the training staff. After a few minutes, they put Knight on a board to get him off the field.
He was taken off on the cart, but did thankfully give the thumbs up.
Knight did get buried and the landing did not look good at all. Once again, this whole game has just been a nightmare for the sophomore. He’s completed just 12-of-27 passes for 146 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Oklahoma was up 14-3 early, but the wheels fell off from there.
Now, of course, all of the focus is on the health of Knight and as more information becomes available on his condition we will keep you updated.
