The National Championship Playoff in college football is still months away, but they already have the field made out. That’s right, the field that the 2015 National Championship game will be played has been made and painted and colored months in advance of the game.
At AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which hosts the inaugural game, they unrolled the field to get a look at it and what it would look like.
You can see that college football playoff logo is at midfield as expected, and they have the year between the 20-30 yards with that logo taking place of the zero in the year. If you look closely you can see that these pieces of the field aren’t placed down in exact order because the yardage is all wrong, it looks like they flip flopped the 30-20 yard pieces.
Either way, they were just trying to get a look at it and it has provided us with a glimpse of what the field will look like come game time.
