Florida State will take on its rival Miami on Saturday and they’ve put up their hurricane warning flags at practice.
Florida State has the great tradition of putting up hurricane warning flags that practice that ocean beaches all over use to indicate that a hurricane is on its way. They’ve got them up this week as they take on Miami FL on Saturday.
The Florida State Seminoles are 9-0, ranked second in the country and trying to play their way into the first ever college football playoff. They play the Miami Hurricanes who are 6-3 and always have a shot at beating the Seminoles.
Florida State comes into the game at just a one point favorite right now, probably due to close calls they’ve had against Oklahoma State, Clemson, NC State, Notre Dame and Louisville this season, showing that the Seminoles could go down at any point.
Jameis Winston isn’t having the Heisman season he was having last year at this point, but is still playing very well and in contention to repeat on the award. So far, Winston has thrown for 2,540 yards and 17 touchdowns on the year. We’ll see if Florida State can unleash their own Hurricane on Miami this Saturday, or if it’ll be Miami walking out with the home victory.
