LSU Player Received Death Threats For Pantsing Alabama Player

LSU tight end Logan Stokes is receiving death threats from Alabama fans after seemingly attempting to pants linebacker Reggie Ragland.

Alabama and LSU squared off over the weekend in a thrilling game over the weekend, but one incident has lingered since then. During the game there was an incident, which was captured on Vine and went viral, where Tigers tight end Logan Stokes appears to attempt to pull down the pants of Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland.

Stokes said on Twitter and then told reporters Monday that Alabama fans have been making death threats towards him over the incident. Leave it to SEC fans to take justified outrage to far to make themselves look like the bad guys.

Of course, Stokes explanation doesn’t make a whole lot of sense either.

“Everybody thinks I intentionally tried to pants him, and I didn’t do that at all,” Stokes said, via Geaux247. “If you watch the Florida game, the Kentucky game, there was a pile and I grabbed people in the exact same way and they were actually wearing a belt. When I pulled them off, I just yanked them back. He wasn’t wearing a belt so when I yanked his pants came down.”

The problem is Ragland was standing next to the pile, not in it when this occurred. Also, Stokes pulls in a downward direction not away from the pile.

Still, that is no reason to make a death threat towards some one.
