Fox Sports has put together an excellent animated video about Randy Moss’ first encounter with Deion Sanders.

Randy Moss is one of the greatest NFL receivers of all time, a true icon of the sport.

But in 1998 Moss was a NFL draft-prospect that could not keep it together when meeting then Dallas Cowboys cornerback Deion Sanders.

Moss recently told the story of his first encounter with Sanders.

While the story in and of itself was hilarious and compelling, it was greatly improved thanks to an animation by the FOX Sports crew.

Watch it below:

It’s always cool to hear stories about professional athletes acting just like the rest of us and this certainly qualifies as one of those.

While fans can’t relate to Moss’ fame or football accomplishments, everyone can all relate to the joy one feels when meeting somebody they look up to.

Also something interesting re-told in this video: Jerry Jones and the Cowboys told Moss they would draft him.

Ultimately, they passed on Moss and the Minnesota Vikings selected him with the No. 21 pick of the 1998 NFL Draft.

During his career, Moss racked up 982 catches for 15,292 receiving yards and 156 touchdowns. Moss was selected to seven pro bowls and was named NFC Player of the Year once.

He last played in 2012 with the San Francisco 49ers.
