Taima, the mascot of the Seattle Seahawks, offered a formal apology after an incident involving a fan prior to last Sunday’s game against the New York Giants

We’ve all had bad days, some of which happen at the workplace. We humans aren’t the only ones who lose our cool and snap, as Taima, the mascot for the Seattle Seahawks showed on Sunday prior to the game against the New York Giants.

There are priceless moments in life, yet one could imagine this doesn’t count as one to the poor fan who had the misfortune of having an angry bird go off the rails and zero in on him.

It looks (kind of) funny, but you try smiling with a pair of strong talons on your head.

After having a couple of days to ponder his foolish act, Taima birded up and issued a heartfelt apology on Tuesday.

Now that’s class, and also a sign that if a bird can admit his wrongdoing, this world is becoming a better place.

There’s no report as to whether the fan will get free tickets or a game ball for his troubles, but perhaps a meeting between he and Taima will go a long way toward both sides getting together hand and talon to end whatever beef remains.

Seattle’s next home game will be November 23, when the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals come to visit. How Taima acts before kickoff will be one of the underlying stories.
