Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is often referred to as “Beast Mode.” In Kansas City Friday night, he was in a different mode.

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and his teammates arrived in Kansas City Friday night for their game Sunday against the Chiefs.

“Beast Mode” was apparently not in the mood to have his photo taken by a complete stranger:

He certainly looked comfortable—sweats, hoodie. Dude was at his very Super Bowl week finest.

But there is a school of thought that the camera-phone is, in fact, not the greatest invention since perforated toilet paper.

Instead, to some people, the almost ubiquitous presence of cameras is sort of a pain in the … neck.

That having been said, an NFL player—particularly a skill player with a relatively high public profile—should probably be a bit more adroit in handling these situations.

Particularly since the suits in Manhattan are constantly lurking, waiting for players to do something that can be fined.

For the record, this might be my reaction, too, if a stranger (or just a strange person) decided to point their lens at me while I’m doing something so exciting as walking through a hotel lobby.
