ESPN College GameDay Headed To Yale vs Harvard
ESPN’s College GameDay will head to Cambridge, MA as Yale takes on Harvard for the 131st meeting between the two teams.
College GameDay will take a break from its usual SEC schedule and head to a less popular matchup. Yale heads to Harvard this weekend for the 131st meeting of The Game, the second oldest rivalry in college football behind Princeton and Yale, which started two years prior.
This marks the second time that College GameDay has been to an FCS game this year after they traveled to Fargo, North Dakota for a Incarnate Word Academy versus North Dakota State match up. Six of the 12 locations so far have been for the SEC, the most dominant conference in college football this year.

This may be the best time for a FCS GameDay show as the SEC games are down from their typical hype in the past few weeks. The most notable of SEC games next week comes between Ole Miss and Arkansas.
The Yale and Harvard location is justified as Harvard is currently 9-0 this year and Yale not far behind at 8-1. The Harvard Crimson have won at least a share of the Ivy League title and will win it outright with a win. However, if the Yale Bulldogs are victorious, then they will also get a share of this year’s championship. So technically, we’re looking at quite the high stakes match up.
Hopefully we’ll see some very intelligent College GameDay signs and maybe a future President in the crowd Saturday, and we’ll see who wins the Ivy League.
