NFL Overreactions Week 11: Prepare for a Chiefs vs. Cardinals Super Bowl
Coughlin Set to Pack Bags as Giants Continue Tearful Season
After Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw five interceptions in the Giants 16-10 loss to the Niners on Sunday, Tom Coughlin immediately started looking for houses away from the Tri-State area. Meanwhile Eli is looking for ways not to be a bad quarterback while Odell Beckham Jr. is wiping away his tears from a nightmare of a season.
To add insult to, well, more insult, the Giants could not take advantage of four Niner fumbles, a failed recovery on a Giants onside kick and a botched field goal snap. In short, the Niners tried to give the Giants the win and Big Blue denied a free win time and time again on Sunday.
In the fourth quarter, the Giants had the ball inside the Niners five-yard line and Eli forced a pass into coverage, leading to a tipped ball to an interception, Eli’s fifth of the game.
To further go into how bad the Giants are and why Coughlin is (or should be) looking for a new home, the Giants could not move the ball in the final drive and could not get the passing game going at all (again), leading them into the 3-7 hole they are in now, adding just another chapter into the football year in New York properly dubbed “The Big Crapple.”
With the Giants on pace to miss the playoffs for a third-straight year, expect a lot of changes with Big Blue in the coming days, weeks and months.
