Loser: Mark Sanchez

It seems as though every week or so we have a new favorite “dark horse quarterback.”

Often it comes at the expense of logic or any historical perspective. I have to admit, I almost bought in on the Sanchize, but as I watched his last two games I saw many of the same exact problems he had with the Jets. Not seeing coverages, poor throws, bad decisions—he was just lucky more often than not.

Until he went to Lambeau field.

Yes, all four turnovers weren’t his fault, but most were. He couldn’t protect the ball and looked much like the same guy who used to play in New Jersey in a different green jersey.  He was so bad that Packers linebacker Julius Peppers was left wondering why Sanchez threw the ball right at him.

As he told NJ.com’s Eliot Shorr-Parks after the game, “I’m not necessarily sure how he didn’t see me on that.”

Welcome to Sanchez Country Eagles fans—taste the flavor.
