Tennessee Titans (+11) over Philadelphia Eagles

Much like Jacksonville before them, everyone has been “in bed” with Tennessee at some point this season, and the Titans have let a lot of people down. However, they showed a feisty side in batting the Steelers to the very end (and covering) a week ago, and they are inexplicably getting double-digits against Philadelphia.

This line has moved in the direction of Tennessee (after opening at 11.5) despite down-the-middle action, lending credence to the fact that “smart” action is on the Titans, but more than that, I simply can’t imagine laying 11 points with the Eagles team that we saw a week ago. Yes, it is a classic overreaction to assume that Philadelphia is “bad” after that disappointing effort against Green Bay, but this offense hasn’t looked right all season, and that makes this a tough sell.

Close your eyes and take double-digits in the NFL. It’s usually the right side.
