5 Reasons Why Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry Needs MVP Consideration
The Warriors Can Win The NBA Championship
The Golden State Warriors have as good as a shot as anyone in the league to reach the NBA Finals. With injuries to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Los Angeles Clippers not looking as sharp as they were projected, the Warriors have loudly shown that they too are ready to take the next step.
The Warriors have a healthy Andrew Bogut in their lineup which always is a nightmarish improvement for their team. In addition because of the David Lee injuries and him being in and out the lineup we have seen the maturation of Draymond Green. The former Michigan State product is having a career year in points, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage.
With Green’s rise to the starting lineup it opens up the floor for his teammates such as Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes. But of course the biggest reason why the Warriors have a chance to win a championship is because of Curry.
In a story back in 2013, Skip Bayless said this about Curry:
"“If healthy, Steph can lead you to a championship. Not even Chris Paul has been able to take Blake places in the playoffs.”"
Soon enough Bayless might look like a fortune-teller.
