San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and quarterback Colin Kaepernick will forever be linked with one another. A few years ago when Alex Smith went down with a concussion, Harbaugh inserted Kaepernick into his place and decided to stick with him the rest of the way. They’ve been to three NFC Championship games together since then, creating quite the special relationship.
Now, these two don’t just share a player-coach relationship. No, no. These two are bros!
We saw that when the cameras cut to the sidelines on Sunday night as the Niners are taking on the rival Seattle Seahawks.
Now that’s quite the brotastic moment that these two shared, and doesn’t that just make you feel all warm inside.
Seeing something like that, coupled with all the rumors going around, really makes you wonder just how heartbroken Kaepernick might be if this is the last season with Harbaugh in San Francisco. With the relationship between the coach and the organization strained beyond repair, it’s unlikely that Harbaugh will be back with the team next season.
So, cherish these moments with these two while you can.
