This will begin the holiday campaign where DICK’s will deliver four basketball hoops a day in an effort to show the ability sports have to bring communities together.
Organizations that are chosen to participate in the “Gifts That Matter” campaign will receive two basketball hoops and they will then gift the other two for the communities to begin interacting with various basketball games that will strengthen the bond of all who participate.
The giving embraces the “pay it forward” concept which has become so prominent during the holiday season.
Along with the basketball hoops, there will be hidden cameras to capture the “before and after” of the people who are impacted by the giving.
Sports do matter and DICK’s concept will show that throughout the various communities chosen to participate.
DSG.com/holidayhoops will have a map updated each day that will show wherethe 100 hoops will be distributed throughout the United States and various social content that will be captured throughout the month.
‘Tis the season for giving, and DICK’s is embracing the holiday spirit.
