More from Chicago Bulls

The NBA hits it’s midweek stride tonight with 10 tasty matchups on the board including the Lakers, Celtics, and Nuggets all on the floor who are ranked in the top five in most points allowed.  There are plenty of options tonight, and there should be some great games as well.  If you’re looking for fantasy options, the list below includes as much variety in position and production as possible.  All players listed are currently available in over 50% of ESPN leagues and make good pickups from the fantasy basketball waiver wire for today’s games.

The top ten pickups of the week are well represented in the pickups for tonight, so check them out there for more in-depth analysis.  Here are the top players to target from the fantasy basketball waiver wire for December 2:

Williams will see an increased role with the injury to DeMar DeRozan.  Williams had already been stepping up for Toronto lately with double-digit scoring in his last eight games including four games with 19 or more. He doesn’t collect rebounds or hand out assists but is usually good for a steal or two and some solid scoring.   Tonight, he and the Raptors take on the Kings in Sacramento in a nice East vs West late-night clash.. PG/SG-Toronto Raptors. 49.0% owned. Louis Williams. 1. player. 81

C-Denver Nuggets. 24.9% owned. Timofey Mozgov. 2. player. 73. If you need big-man production, the best widely available option is the Nuggets starting center Timofey Mozgov as Denver hosts the Blazers.  Mozgov won’t hurt your shooting percentage and is usually around a double-double with a few blocks mixed in for good measure. He has 16 rebounds in one of his earlier games against Portland, and should provide solid points, boards, and blocks tonight in the Mile High City.

10.6% owned. Nikola Mirotic. 3. player. 24. With Taj Gibson sidlined, Mirotic has stepped into a bigger role in the Bulls rotation and has been quietly productive. In his last five games, he has a pair of double-doubles while averaging 12.6 points and 8.6 rebounds.  He had five blockes on Friday in Boston, and has also been contributing steals and assists.  Tonight, the Bulls take on the Mavs in one of the better games of the night, and Mirotic deserves a look based on the balance he brings to the table.. PF-Chicago Bulls

player. 67. McLemore continues to produce steady numbers from the two-guard spot in Sacramento.  He’s averaging 38 minutes per game over his last five contests while scoring over 15 points per game, making over two three-pointers per game, and adding almost four rebounds per game over that span.  Tonight, he’ll face an injury-depleted Raptors backcourt and should be able to again produce a nice, well-rounded line without scuttling your shooting percentage.. SG-Sacramento Kings. 11.8% owned. Ben McLemore. 4

79. If your main statistical need is assists, check out Nelson who is expected to return to the starting lineup tonight against Chicago.  Nelson has been averaging just under six assists per game in his last ten contests.  He doesn’t add to your team in many other categories, but assists are hard enough to come by on the wire that he’s worth checking into if that’s your team’s need.. PG-Dallas Mavericks. 9.1% owned. Jameer Nelson. 5. player

SG/SF-Los Angeles Lakers. 44.2% owned. Nick Young. 6. player. 20. Starting the season late led to a slow start for “Swaggy P,” but Young has started to show signs of turning it around in his last three games.  He scored a season-high 20 against Toronto in LA’s last game giving him double-digits in three straight.  While he’s going to takes some shots and hurt your percetages, he should be able to get his points tonight against Detroit..

player. 64. So far this season, KCP has taken a ton of shots and played a lot of minutes for Detroit, but it has only been starting to pay off recently.  Caldwell-Pope has made 11 three-pointers in his last three games while scoring 17, 21, and 32 points.  He usually pulls in a few boards and adds a steal or two while playing over 30 minutes.  Tonight, Caldwell-Pope’s value is boosted by the matchup against the defensive-deficient Lakers who will likely allow him to put together a solid line.. SG-Detroit Pistons. 8.7% owned. Kevtavious Caldwell-Pope. 7
