Braxton Miller went down with an injury in the beginning of the year and was replaced by J.T. Barrett, who has proven himself to be a great player, so could that mean the end of Miller in Columbus?

Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett may have gone down last weekend in the game against Michigan, but that doesn’t mean he won’t get back the starting job he’s rightfully earned once back.

If he didn’t, than it would make sense for him to leave, but then again if he were to get the job would this open up the door for Braxton Miller to be on the way out?

Matt Hayes asked the same question in a recent post over at The Sporting News. He gave a list of schools that could be potential landing spots for the guy who was a preseason Heisman favorite, including UCLA, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and Arkansas.

Of course Oklahoma and Texas have guys that are more than capable of leading their respective squads but would love a guy of Miller’s caliber. Oregon and UCLA will both be losing their star quarterbacks, assuming they leave for the NFL early, so those are very reasonable. But one of the places that really made sense, Arkansas.

Here’s what Hayes had to say about that possibility:

"“If you’re going to do it, why not go somewhere where the coach has had success with the very thing you’re trying to do? Bret Bielema made it work with Russell Wilson at Wisconsin; he’ll figure a way to make it work with Miller — and increase his draft stock.”"

There’s no proof anywhere that Braxton Miller will actually transfer anytime soon, but of course like anything, it can be speculated. Arkansas might not make the most sense if he wants to win championships, but it would make sense if he wants to improve his draft stock.
