2. Oakland Raiders

While the Oakland Raiders do have Derek Carr that they are happy with, they wouldn’t be opposed to acquiring Robert Griffin III. Carr has shown some flashes of being a legitimate starting quarterback, but he has also shown some flashes of being a quarterback who will end up being a backup. If they could acquire Griffin from Washington for a third-round pick, they would likely be all over that trade.

That being said, the Raiders have a lot of holes to fill other than the quarterback position that they pick could be used on. It might end up being a difficult decision for them to make if the opportunity presented itself. When everything is said and done, however, they couldn’t pass up the chance to acquire Griffin and give him a chance at being their franchise quarterback.

Oakland hasn’t had a whole lot of excitement surrounding their franchise for awhile, and that is something that Griffin could bring. He still has the arm to make a difference for whoever he plays with, and he need to continue regaining confidence in his knee. If he can get back to being the confident player that he was when he first came into the NFL, he could very well get back to being the star rookie that the Redskins saw take them to the playoffs.
