Mike Singletary Could Be NFL Head Coach Again

Mike Singletary, yes, that Mike Singletary, could be a serious candidate for another head coaching job in the NFL next season.
You remember Mike Singletary from his time as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. For a fleeting moment he was lauded for his toughness and the attitude he instilled in his players.

For the majority of his tenure, he was more of a caricature than a coach. He screamed at players, dropped his pants in the locker room, and gave one of the most ridiculous press conferences you will ever see.
Even though he flamed out in his first head coaching gig, somewhere behind all of that was a good football coach. Presumably he would not have gotten the gig in the first place otherwise.
Singletary stuck as a positional coach in the league in the seasons after, coaching linebackers for the Minnesota Vikings through the end of the 2013 season. He has been working for the league office this season but has expressed an interested in returning to coaching.
Believe it or not, it sounds like teams will be interested in hiring him. And not just hiring him, but making Singletary their head coach.
