Despite leading his team to a 12-0 record in the regular season and a College Football Playoff Berth, Winston will not have an opportunity to repeat his 2013 title.
Winston has amassed a number of college football fans that dislike him in the past year and it should come to no surprise that those people mocked the quarterback on Twitter after the announcement.
"Jameis has more interceptions this year than Tebow did in his career lol don’t compare a Goat to a sheep"

2013 Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston was not invited back this season as a finalist. He still hasn't lost a game as a starter at #FSU.

The fact of the matter is that Winston was not expected to be named a finalist. After throwing for 40 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season, he threw for 24 scores and 17 picks.
Still, Winston has a chance to get the last laugh here, as he’s just two wins away from a second straight national title.
