Friday we learned that Adrian Peterson’s suspension will be upheld as his appeal was denied by an arbitrator.
Adrian Peterson will be forced to sit out his full suspension, as his appeal has been denied by an arbitrator on Friday. There were some that thought he might be able to step on the field again this season, much like Ray Rice was allowed to. However, that ultimately did not happen and the original ruling will stand.
Of course, as you would expect, the internet had some takes on the matter.
And, of course, also, there were a lot of comparisons to Rice.
Ray Rice gets reinstated but Adrian Peterson doesn't. Cool.

So Ray Rice won his appeal but Adrian Peterson lost his? Wow

RT @Cybersoulja Wait, so they granted Ray Rice's appeal, but denied Adrian Peterson's?!?!?!?! I can't even...

Ray Rice is getting reinstated to the @NFL and Adrian Peterson is not. AP probably wishes he would've beaten his wife instead of his kid.

Ray Rice can be reinstated but not Adrian Peterson?

There were a lot of other takes, but the common theme among those on the internet has been Peterson vs Rice.
