Mississippi State junior quarterback Dak Prescott gave Bulldogs fans a hint that he’ll be returning for his senior year and bypass the NFL Draft.

Dak Prescott took the college football world by storm earlier this season after he helped lead Mississippi State to three straight wins over teams ranked in the top 10, including wins at LSU and vs. No. 2 Auburn to move up to the No. 1 spot in the polls for the first time in program history.
The junior quarterback put himself in the Heisman conversation and was a finalist for the Maxwell Award this year and the dual-threat quarterback put himself on the radar of NFL scouts. Prescott hinted earlier in the year he would leave Starkville early if he would be a first or second round pick, but on Friday sounded like a player who is planning to stick around for his senior year and take care of some unfinished business.

Prescott led Mississippi State to their third 10-win season in program history and will play Georgie Tech in the Orange Bowl for a chance at the school’s first 11-win season in program history.
Provided he does return for his senior year at Mississippi State he will be on the short list of Heisman Trophy candidates for 2015 and will try to get Mississippi State that elusive SEC title they come so close to winning this year.
