TNT’s Inside The NBA cast debated and weighed in on the video of Kobe Bryant unloading on his Los Angeles Lakers teammates in practice.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

Things got heated at a Los Angeles Lakers practice recently when superstar Kobe Bryant unloaded in a profanity laced tirade about his teammates directed at general manager Mitch Kupchak.

We’re supposed to be practicing to get better, Mitch! We’re supposed to be practicing to get better. These mother******* ain’t doing s*** for me!” Bryant yelled.

That has quickly become one of the biggest sports stories of the week, partly because it was recorded on video. It almost furthered the idea that players don’t want to play alongside Bryant because he can be so difficult.

TNT’s Inside The NBA crew broke down the video and situation, and they were quick to counter that notion saying that it is a common occurrence among NBA teams. Particularly Kenny Smith, who said it happened two to three times a month when he played for the Houston Rockets.

Smith’s point was that it was a way to call out players who were going above and beyond to look good for the media in practice but not on the court during an actual NBA game.

Shaq spent most of it grinning, which is interesting given his history with Kobe Bryant. Check it out below:
