Kevin Durant took on all five Cleveland Cavaliers’ defenders and scored
As the clock wound down in Oklahoma City, the Thunder held a seven-point lead with under a minute to go. At that point, the Cavaliers were playing pretty “tough” defense still, or they were until Kevin Durant took them on.
Durant, basically, went one-on-five and made a swooping lay-up to seal the game game for the Thunder, although it may have already been over.

This is a very weak defensive effort by the Cavs. First, Kyrie Irving lets Durant drive right past him. Joe Harris sort of tries to get in front of Durant, but can’t decide whether or not to leave Reggie Jackson in the corner.

When Durant cuts back in to the middle, Matthew Dellavedova has a chance to cut in front of him, but he actually turns and looks at Tristan Thompson like “Are you going to try to stop him?”
Durant’s too good to be stopped by late help from a mediocre rim protector like Thompson.
On the back side of the play, Kevin Love has a chance to stop Durant after he sidesteps Thompson. Instead, Love looks like he starts to box out air. Even with less than a minute left in the game, Love is still trying to pad his rebounding stats… against no one.
Durant finished the game with 19 points on 6-of-14 shooting against the Cavs.
