Despite the New York Giants and the New York Jets woes this season, New York City is the third best market for NFL jersey sales this season.

More from New York Giants

The New York Giants and the New York Jets are both struggling this season. You couldn’t blame the city of New York if they stopped following the NFL season early and started looking forward to 2015.

Despite the lack of football success this season, New York City ranks third when it comes to jersey sales according to the Jersey Report, which tracks the sales of NFL jerseys at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online.

The Giants and the Jets lead the charge for jersey sales in New York City as well, it isn’t even transplant fans. Besides the hometown teams, the next highest selling team in New York City are the Cleveland Browns.

Giants quarterback Eli Manning’s jersey sales have dropped considerably over the past season. Despite the slow start in 2013, Manning was in the top 10 for every week but two. This season Manning’s jersey sales come in at No. 13 overall. This past week Manning dropped all the way to 27th overall.
