In the last-ever concert at London’s Earls Court Arena, Pink Floyd guitarist and vocalist Dave Gilmour made an unscheduled appearance and it was amazing.
Bombay Bicycle Club was playing the final gig at London’s Earls Court Arena Saturday night when they were joined on stage by an unscheduled—but very special—guest.
Pink Floyd guitarist and co-lead vocalist Dave Gilmour joined Bombay Bicycle Club, English independent rock band, and was introduced by BBC guitarist Jamie MacColl.
"“This man gave me my first guitar and was one of the first people to play this venue and by my count has played here more than 27 times,” MacColl said, per NME.com."

Pink Floyd played its first concert at Earls Court Arena in 1973 during their “Dark Side of the Moon” tour.
The show was a huge hit, with other guest appearances by Lucy Rose, Rae Morris and Liz Lawrence.
Elbow frontman Guy Garvey was featured in a spoof documentary set 25 years in the future “looking back” at Bombay Bicycle Club’s 2014 show at Earls Court, playing the band’s “fan club president.”
Peace supported the concert and performed a number of tracks from their soon-to-be-released second album “Happy People.”
"“This morning I woke up at 7 a.m. and watched Led Zeppelin playing here in 1975,” Peace frontman Harry Koisser said. “It looked great, so we decided to cover them, which I know you’re not supposed to do. …”"
Peace performed a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Since I’ve Been Loving You.”
Earls Court Arena opened in 1937. It is scheduled to be demolished as part of a redevelopment of the site in Kensington and Chelsea in central London.
