3. Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are another team that has checked in on Lance Stephenson since the Charlotte Hornets began talking potential trades. Brian Shaw was his former assistant coach in Indiana, and has a great working relationship with Stephenson. Denver has been searching to make a move to help bring some life to their team, and this is a move that would do just that.

Bringing in the type of playmaking and attitude that Stephenson possesses would be a big step forward for the Nuggets. Shaw knows how to talk to and coach Stephenson and that would help keep him in check.

It would certainly be smart for the Nuggets to see if they could make a deal for Stephenson. He would bring exactly what they need to the table, and could help them get back towards making a run at the postseason. The Western Conference is improving, and the Nuggets need to do whatever they can to begin improving themselves.
