For the draw, the 16 clubs who qualified from the group stage advanced. The first stage will take place in mid-February, while mid-March is when the second leg of the Round of 16 will take place.
Winners and runners-up of each group must be matched up, with the runners-up playing the first game at home. The one catch, however, was the runner-up and winner from the same group would not be able to face off.
