Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Packers getting shut down by the Bills last week was probably the worst thing that could have happened for the Buccaneers in terms of this week’s head to head match up. Facing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers passing attack is always a nightmare for opposing teams, but facing them when they are motivated and focused after an embarrassing loss just makes things that much more difficult. I don’t see a Packers offense that is averaging 31 points per game having two bad games in a row, especially when they are facing a Bucs defense that is allowing opposing QBs to complete 68% of their passes with a QB rating of 99.1. This one will be all Packers.

Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

As a confessed Chiefs homer I will obviously be cheering for KC to win this game. However, I don’t think it’s a good match up for KC. The Chiefs have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL in terms of YPC they allow and having to face Le’Veon Bell who is having one of the best seasons in the NFL is going to be a tough match up. If KC stacks the box to stop the run then Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown will likely make them pay for it. I think Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs pass rush will keep them in the game, but in the end the Steelers offense may be a little too much for them to overcome.
