This clip of Louisville guard Mike Marra throwing down this insane windmill dunk is making its way around the internet today.
The clip is said to be from around 2010, but that is okay, because a lot of people probably have yet to see it. I am not sure exactly how this did not hit big four years ago, but it is one of those things that certainly make you glad you clicked the link to see.
In fact, the only thing better than watching the video is to wonder what was going on in the mind of the guy wearing the blue No. 4 jersey.
What exactly was he thinking? Did he really think he was not about to get posterized? Well that is exactly what happened and I can say this, the next time I am cruising college hoops I will be stopping to give Marra a watch anytime I catch them on TV.
This is said to be a video of Marra in high school, so maybe that explains why No. 4 was willing to try to step up and stop that dunk. Whatever it was, instead of insulting him, maybe we should give him some kudos for trying to play defense.
In a world where so many of today’s better players won’t even consider playing defense, he at least tried.
