Mason Plumlee Stuffs Kyrie Irving At The Basket (Video)

Mason Plumlee was not going to let Kyrie Irving get an easy layup and the two points on his watch. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers are taking on the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night in an Eastern Conference battle, and early on in this one, Mason Plumlee is letting his defensive presence be known on that court.

And, he’s doing it at the expense of Kyrie Irving.

In the first half of this one Irving was driving to the basket, where he thought that he was going to get an easy layup for the Cavaliers. At first glance, it seemed as if it was smooth sailing to the rim; an easy lay in.

Well, nothing is easy when Plumlee is around that rim, which makes him such a defensive asset to this Nets team.

Watch in the video below as Plumlee comes right to the basket with Kyrie and hits him with the “No sir, NOT TODAY!” stuff.


Have to be a little more careful around that rim, Kyrie. You’re an incredible basketball player, there’s no denying that, but if we’ve ever learned anything, don’t take a Plumlee lightly, it never ends well.
