Winners: Dallas Cowboys

It almost couldn’t have gone better for Dallas this weekend. First, the Philadelphia Eagles gagged against Washington. Then, they went and curb-stomped the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon, securing the NFC East title and the No. 3 seed.

They have an outside shot at a bye and home field advantage as well next weekend.

DeMarco Murray struggled a little, but still played well. Dez Bryant had an absolute monster game and Tony Romo looked better than he has in many a December.

Considering how many people outside of Dallas were writing off the Cowboys in preseason, it’s been an amazing year for this team. The defense still has its doubters, but the way it played against the Colts—especially in the first half—they might just continue to surprise us.

Next up, they try to avoid the same collapse against Washington which the Eagles just suffered.
