Darrelle Revis gets most of the attention in the New England Patriots’ secondary — and deservedly so — but there is another exceptional player in the New England secondary who does not get the attention he deserves.

For the past few seasons, McCourty has exceled in the defensive backfield and has given the Patriots a safety net as one of their last lines of defense.

This season, McCourty has 64 tackles, 2 interceptions and a forced fumble, but his impact on the field goes well beyond the statline.
