When LeBron James returns to South Beach on Christmas Day with the Cleveland Cavaliers, his old team, the Miami Heat, plan to honor him during pre-game festivities.
On Christmas Day, LeBron James returns to AmericanAirlines Arena to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Miami Heat, who he won back-to-back NBA championships with before returning home to Cleveland in the offseason.

It will be an emotional moment for James and could come with some added pressure, but he is going to approach the game as just another regular season matchup despite being in the top slot on the NBA Christmas schedule.
“I mean, I seen it when the schedule came out, that it was a Christmas Day game,” James said, via Cleveland.com. “So it is there. How much emphasis am I putting on it? I’m not putting much on it. I’m excited to see my teammates, the guys I went to war with, the coaching staff, things like that once I get to that point.
“We have too many games for me to even get to that point. But when it comes up, it will be a great time.”
But how will the Heat fans react when LeBron returns to South Beach? That remains to be seen.
What we do know is that the team plans on creating a positive atmosphere before the game, with video tributes for LeBron James and Cavaliers backup James Jones.
