The Western Conference is the toast of the NBA, and it’s the Houston Rockets who will represent them in the NBA Finals.

At HoopsHabit.com we had to make predictions early before the NBA season started and say who we thought would make the NBA Finals from the Western Conference. My pick was the Oklahoma City Thunder. A month after making my prediction, I felt like an idiot because of the injuries to point guard Russell Westbrook and small forward Kevin Durant.

During the time of the injuries to the Thunder’s superstars, there have been many teams in the Western Conference that stepped up and got on hot streaks. Two of those teams were the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors. Even though both of those teams are great and have an opportunity to make the NBA Finals, the team that I feel has the best chance to defeat the San Antonio Spurs in a seven games series is the Houston Rockets. I say Spurs because I feel when the last four teams are standing in the NBA, they will be in the mix.

Here are five reasons why the Houston Rockets will make the 2015 NBA Finals.
