Miami Heat LeBron James Tribute (Video)
By Jack Crosby
The Miami Heat went out of their way on Christmas Day to show a tribute to the man that helped them win two titles, LeBron James.
LeBron James returned to South Beach on Christmas Day for the first time since he decided over the summer to head back to Cleveland and play for the Cavaliers once again. Despite him deciding to end his tenure in Miami after only four seasons to head back home, there is still a lot of respect in Miami for the man that helped the team to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances and two titles.
It was known coming in that because of that respect, the Heat were going to show a tribute video to LeBron James at some point during the game.
Well during one of the breaks in the first quarter, the Heat did just that, and you can have a look at it below.
That was a pretty classy move by the Heat organization on their part, and does indeed show that the people in Miami still have love for James for all he did down there.
But so far in the first half, the Heat are giving LeBron anything but a tribute, as they hold a near 20-point lead.
