The Rose Bowl has turned into a blood bath, and the Florida State Seminoles are so lost that they’re blocking themselves on the field.Â

You can say that the Florida State Seminoles got in their own way during their Rose Bowl blowout at the hands of the Oregon Ducks. Jameis Winston seriously hurt his NFL Draft stock with his worst performance of his college career and the Noles were put in their place against an Oregon team that dominated in every way possible.
But there were plenty of moments where the Noles got in their own way including a play where the literally got in their own way. In the middle of the embarrassing blowout loss, two Florida State players ended up blocking each other in one of the most boneheaded moments of the evening inside the Rose Bowl.

It was an embarrassing loss for the Seminoles, who were firmly and promptly put into their place. This image of the Seminoles going full-Florida Gator and blocking themselves is pretty much the epitome of what fans had to endure on Thursday night.
Florida State came into the Rose Bowl cockier than they’ve ever been but they finally matched up against a solid team in the Ducks and that’s the story here. The Seminoles may have managed to get themselves out of jams against teams like Clemson, Louisville and others, but this was a thorough beatdown that puts the Noles in their place the way many around the country wanted to see.
