The ground game has been critical for the Tigers, as both Hansbrough and Marcus Murphy have posted more than 100 rushing yards in the contest. Quarterback Maty Mauk even made a crucial play on the ground.
Hansbrough eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the ground for the season during the game, as he entered the Citrus Bowl with 970 yards and nine touchdowns on 190 carries. His Citrus Bowl performance was certainly a nice bounce-back game for the junior tailback, as he struggled mightily his last time out, racking up just 21 yards on 13 carries, in the SEC Championship game against Alabama.
Missouri entered the game at 10-3 and the No. 16 rank in the country while Minnesota is 8-4 and ranked No. 25.
