Tom Brady is way too excited for the new year.
A little too excited if you ask me.
But who am I to criticize Tom Brady? I mean, why shouldn’t he be stoked for the upcoming year?

After starting out the season shaky, both individually and team-wise as they got off to a 2-2 start to the season, Brady led the New England Patriots to a 10-2 record for the final 12 weeks.
Finishing the season 12-4, the Patriots clinched their sixth consecutive AFC East division title and a first-round bye in this years playoffs.
Brady also led the Patriots offense to being the fourth highest scoring team in the league this season, behind the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, and Green Bay Packers respectively. He threw for 4,109 passing yards with 33 touchdowns and only 9 interceptions with a 64.1 percent completion rating.
Not to mention he still has one of the most attractive wives on the face of the earth.
So go ahead Tom Brady, let loose. Enjoy yourself. You’ve earned it.

Oh, okay. That’s not exactly what I had in mind, but you do you Tom.
Instead of going out to some kind of big New Year’s Eve gala, club or event, Tom Brady decided to let loose by staying home and most likely having one of his kids take a photo of him ringing in the new year… at 7 P.M.
In the picture, he is wearing a cone-head ‘Happy New Year’ party hat, blowing on a streamer and holding up a sign stating the obvious.
I always wondered what a 12 year-old would like like trapped in a 37 year-old’s body. Now I know. Thanks Tom.
In all seriousness, it’s actually good to see this from Tom Brady. He most likely is home during the picture, which means he decided to spend New Year’s Eve with his family instead of going out partying. He also has the playoffs coming up to prepare for, so I’m sure Patriots fans are happy to see he’s not out getting crazy when he most likely had to wake up on New Year’s Day and start prepping for his playoff game next weekend.
You can’t say the same for some other quarterbacks in the league who decide to go on vacation during their bye weeks (*cough* Romo *cough*).
So good on you, Mr. Brady.
