Ravens Knock Off the Patriots

Yes the New England Patriots have looked quite dominant in 2014, but their least favorite opponent in the playoffs is the Baltimore Ravens. In the past three playoffs the Ravens have been in, the Patriots have played them three times, losing two out of the three. Although the Ravens no longer have Hall of Fame players like Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, they still boast a strong defense and they know what it takes to knock off the Patriots on the road in Foxboro.

Rob Gronkowski is a certified beast, but the Ravens have given up just five touchdowns to opposing tight ends in 2014, which is easily the league’s best. Joe Flacco is a different quarterback in the postseason and the Ravens host one of top run defenses in the league. If the Ravens get pressure on Tom Brady and be smart with the football, which is something I’m sure Flacco will do, the Ravens have all the ability in the world to be in the AFC Championship next week.
